You are the only one who is responsible for your success. But it doesn’t always feel that way, does it?
We all have our past obstacles and setbacks that have gotten in the way of what we really want. It is easy to believe that there are good reasons for us to not be further in our success journey, but the truth is that we are exactly where we are because of the habits and the choices that we are making. The truth is that you are one thought and one habit away from a breakthrough. This can feel like fluff but it is not, it is the truth. You are capable of doing what you think is impossible.
Here is something to consider when you are feeling frustrated or stuck; the astronauts of Apollo 11 took a small piece of wood from the Wright Flyer (the first successful aircraft built by the Wright brothers) to the moon. They took a piece of wood to the moon.
Seems like a strange thing to take to the moon. This wasn’t any hunk of wood though, this piece of wood embodied the entire history of man’s history of flight.
Think about the journey of the impossible dream of flight. These bicycle builders were told time and time again that flight was impossible because the gravitational force of the planet was too strong.
Time and time again they heard critical voices telling them that they were wasting their time.
However, they understood something important that the naysayers did not understand. They understood that their desires and dreams could become reality.
In Napoleon Hill's book, Think and Grow Rich, he said, “whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
The Wright brothers took an idea, wrapped it in faith, made a plan and executed.
If you have ever been a passenger on a plane, then you have traveled on an idea that became a thing because of the vision and persistent action of these two men.
You have the same capacity. What do you dream about your business? What about your next sale? What about how you handle objections? What problems do you use your imagination to solve? You are capable of doing great things that will impact your family’s destiny forever.
These setbacks and obstacles exist for you to create solutions that the average person would never think of. You are not average. You were created to do great things.
You are responsible for your success. What dreams will you chase? What actions will you take? What impact will you make? One new thought can and will change everything.
